Ambience and Atmosphere: Well kept and maintained inspire of being an old Assam type cottage, converted into a dining space. It gives off a homely and pleasant vibe. Food: Food was top notch, everything was fresh and in generous quantity. Service: Polite staff but they did take upto an hour to serve us our meal. Other than that no complaints. There is also a boutique with the cutest handcrafted items ranging from cushion cover, to carpets to shawls.

Located in a cute and quiet corner of the city, the cafe offers an amazing atmosphere to enjoy one’s coffee and meal. The ambiance of the place is simply beautiful with well lit rooms and pleasing wall art. Food at the place is mouthwatering and the sauces served are a bomb! So far have tried the chicken steaks, burgers and salads and loved them all.. will be heading back soon to try the grilled fish and other items. Kudos to the owners for setting up the place with such warmth and attention to detail..

Secret Story serves up the “cozy-quaint-comforting” experience just right with its delicious food, old-school charm decor, warm & smiling staff and even a little collection of games & books you can keep yourself occupied with. The location is easy to locate, there are ample seating options to choose from and there even is a boutique in-store for you to shop tidbits at. The menu is thoughtfully curated (and even has a personal touch with the inclusion of the cafe’s origin story). A must visit for me everytime I am in Shillong. The pasta menu is my go to and always manages to satisfy my pasta cravings. Defiantly among Shillong’s best & highly recommended!

I had a delightful experience at this cozy, tucked-away cafe. It offered a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for unwinding. The food was exceptional, and the drinks were incredibly refreshing. Definitely a place worth trying!
